Dieting and calorie-counting can make you dumber.
Researchers found that calorie-counting and spontaneous cravings clog up a dieter's brain, leaving less room for other things....you know, like thoughts, calculations....uhm.....that other stuff that could make you more smarter. Sorry...I'm on the Adkins right now, so I'm feeling a bit stupid.=.
This "clogging" negatively impacts our ability to carry out various tasks , including logical reasoning, problem solving and taking in new information.
