Two big franchises hit theaters this weekend nationwide. Fast & Furious 6, a series of films that I will admit I've seen none of, continues to rake in big bucks at the box office with each new installment. Pretty simple formula for success: buff dudes, hot ladies, sweet rides and ridiculous action sequences:
The Hangover Part III, the final installment in the trilogy, will give FF6 a run for it's money at the box office. I've seen the first two parts and I'm hoping number three is better than the last. I really like Ken Jeong and Zach Galifianakis. For me, they are the reasons to watch any of the Hangover movies. Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms, while they have a couple of moments, really do nothing for me. And here's hoping that Heather Graham isn't on screen for long. I get why guys are into her but when it comes to acting, it's a joke and I'm not just talking about her Jade role.
Before Midnight, starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, is the sequel to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. The movie deals with issues of commitment, love and marriage and for my money, will be the best movie to debut this weekend.
And for the kids, Epic features the voices of Beyonce, Colin Farrell, Christoph Waltz and many more:
