I came across this on Facebook the other day and it made me think.
Even though I try not to, sometimes I bring the stress of the day at work home with me and take it out on my kids, by being short with them and not as patient as I should be. Having 3 small kids it's tough sometimes, but ever since I read this last week I have kept it in the back of my mind and hopefully has made me a better parent:
"You will never have this day with your children again.
Tommorrow they'll be a little older then they were today.
This day is a gift.
Just breathe, notice, study their faces and little feet.
Relish the charms of the present.
it will be over before you know it."
