SnydRemarks for Monday, May 13th, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 by Pat Snyder

Monday will be a review of the Mother's Day weekend. In this time of unemployment you would think everyone would keep their job no matter what. Well the crew at Office Team has a list of the most riduculus excuses for quitting a job. Also, a New Jersey town is cracking down on carless pedestrians who are texting or talking on their cell phones while they walk.

Feedback will begin at 8:10 am Iraqi War veteran Joel Arends—Chairman of Veterans for a Strong America—will discuss President Obama’s shameful politicization of the killing of Bin Laden. President Obama said that he wasn’t going to “spike the football”—but now he’s running political ads claiming credit for what the heroes of SEAL Team 6 accomplished in Abbottabad by killing the world’s most wanted terrorist and murderer of 3,000 Americans. Arends contends that President Obama has not only spiked the football—but he’s signed the football and done an end zone dance.  Clearly, he deserves a penalty flag for excessive celebration for using the killing of Bin Laden as an opportunity to divide Americans in order to achieve his own narrow political objectives.

After the 8:30 am news, Jane Janke Johnson will discuss the historic homes tour that will be Saturday, May 19th and feature eight historic homes with costumed storytellers.
There will be a reception afterwards at the Wausau Club.
