NEWS BLOG (WSAU) I’d like to announce a small programming change on WSAU.
Our overnight program, Coast to Coast AM, provides three hours of live programming each evening and then each hour is rebroadcast to fill 6-hours of broadcast time.
But in the central time zone the first hour of programming is a pre-feed – it isn’t live, it’s on tape. And it replays again later in the evening. In the mountain time zone the first two hours of Coast to Coast are on tape.
The syndicators of Coast to Coast don’t want an “in the can” hour to open the show. So tonight they’re adding a new host to the Coast to Coast family. Clyde Lewis will join the WSAU line-up in the 11pm hour tonight.Clydecalls his portion of the overnight “Ground Zero”. He’s a top-rated late night host fromPortland,Oregon. George Norrie will host his regular program starting at midnight.
For those who prefer George Norrie for all six hours – sorry – the “missing” taped hour is no longer being made available to Coast to Coast affiliates. For those who like Clyde Lewis, we will have the option of adding a second hour of his program (at 10pm) at a later date.
