Kathleen Parker's take on Scott Brown, The Republican candidate in the special election January 19 to fill Edward Kennedy's Senate seat. Parker in this column says Brown has closed to 9 points; another poll actually shows him up by a point, or a virtual dead heat. Even if he has closed to single digits it would be a remarkable development. Democrats have done everything but called health care reform the Teddy Kennedy Memorial Bill. Hot Air has a story about dems already trying to delay seating Brown, should he win, to make sure they get the health care reform bill through. That's the cart before the horse; Brown has won't anything yet. But if he does, the defeat would be literally breathtaking. It would also make talk of longtime House member Dave Obey of central wisconsin being beatable seem far less pie in the sky.
