Hum...Given the government is majority owner of GM, does this seem appropriate? And how many of the Toyotas in question were imported anyway? Weren't the majority of them built in this country? I suppose he has a point about this being a response to the Japanese move on American beef, but given that as a member of the Obama administration he has a vested interest in GM, it's pretty hard NOT to read this as a conflict of interest.
