I think Hayes makes an important point here. Romney and Ryan are winning this debate, for now. So, what could change between now and November? One possibility is Democrats will find a new spin(lie) on this debate that the media helps them push. Two, they simply keep trying to change the subject (negotiating on Romney's tax return, for instance, was an effort to change the subject from medicare).
But right now, liberals do want to change the subject from medicare! How delicious is that!!!! This is the fight they wanted, or so they thought. And other conservatives disagree with me on this but part of this success is due to the media not letting the left get away with the usual mediscare mantra. Whether that keeps up will also dictate whether Romney and Ryan continue to win this debate.
But so far, this feels very much like the Wisconsin recall campaign; the fight libs wanted because they believed facts and the people were on their side. They were wrong. Yeah, this feels a LOT like that.
