View From Outside Wisconsin: Walker Likely to Win

Posted by Jerry Bader on

As liberal organizers haul people like cattle to early vote, the view from the outside looking in is that Governor Scott Walker has all but won the recall election. Politico also had a piece yesterday discussing what Walker's stature within the conservative moment will be should he wins and debating whether libs created a GOP hero. The national take is unions overreached, dramatically, with this recall and it's going to bite them, badly, perhaps costing President Obama Wisconsin in November.

I continue to believe Walker will win. I'm skeptical, putting it mildly, of polls showing him leading by 8 and 12 points. And the early voting effort in Milwaukee and Madison is reason for concern for conservatives. Nothing is done till June 5. Conservatives supporting Scott Walker, including those who support him but don't typically vote, MUST vote between now and June 5.
