The title of this blog post is a quote from the writer of this piece, but it comes close to reflecting my own feelings. I don't despair, but I am deeply concerned. He says here what I said all week after the election; this loss is different. As conservatives we firmly believed America understood the choice. There were two directions and America chose President Obama; someone who believes government is the answer to all problems.
American can survive another four yers of Barack Obama. But I'm reminded of a line from one of the Disney "Aladdin" movies when the evil genie is reminded that the genie rules prohibit from killing anybody:"you'd be amazed at what you can live through." America will live through four more years of this but will be much worse for the wear.
But the big question is this: after four more years of failed Euro-socialism policies will America then understand what the problem is? The choice seemed so clear and America didn't chose Barack Obama. Not despair, but close.
