We went an hour today on the show talking about how public sentinment on same sex marriage has shifted, dramatically in the past decade. The conversation centered on whether this is an issue conservatives have already lost. If SCOTUS takes this up, and declares a constitutional right to gay marriage, then the debate is officially over. If not, it will probably ignite an entirely new gay rights movement. Such a defeat for gay rights would be seen by the movement as the Dred Scott Decision of our day.
