No, not really. Although, I'm not really sure what the NRA expected from this meeting. I don't think it's a secret that the White House and the left in general considers them the problem. As the old saying goes; they didn't have a seat at this table, they were on the menu. Conservatives are walking on eggshells, but the reality is President Obama and the left are exploiting Sandy Hook for political purposes.

They believe this is the tipping point in the gun control debate for which they've been waiting a long, long time. They do, in fact, believe guns are the problem. And no, they don't believe banning assault weapons and high capacity magazines will change anything. They want much, much more.
