There's a certain fascination that comes with the monsters who perpetrate mass shootings. But there SHOULD be a focus on the VICTIMS and the HEROES instead.
--The staff and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary did an INCREDIBLE job limiting the loss of life. Some teachers like Kaitlin Roig and Maryrose Kristopik took groups of students into bathrooms and closets and barricaded the doors to save their lives.
--Others, including the principal and the school psychologist, died trying to stop the shooter and save the children.
--Here are the 20 young children and six staff members . . . all women . . . who were senselessly murdered in Connecticut on Friday morning. It's MORE IMPORTANT that we know their names than the name of the person who murdered them.
