Back in June, SHERYL CROW announced that she had a benign brain tumor.  She said she got checked out because she was starting to forget her lyrics, and she thought maybe she was suffering from early-onset Alzheimer's.

 --Yesterday on KATIE COURIC'S new talk show, Sheryl said she thinks the tumor was caused by CELL PHONE USE.

 --She said, quote, "[In the] early early days when I was promoting my first record, I did hours of [interviews] on the old archaic cell phones."

 --She added that the tumor, which is about the size of her pinky, is located around the area where she held her phone.  Although she admitted, quote, "There are no doctors that will confirm" her cell phone theory.

 --Still, she says that while she has to keep an eye on the tumor, it's, quote, "nothing I have to worry about."  (--Sheryl is also a breast cancer survivor.)

Please keep in mind that this is the same woman that told us not too long ago that we should all use one single square of toilet paper in order to protect the invironment.  One.
