According to a study by Google, there are eight words in the English language that are each used in at least 1% of all speaking and writing.

 --That means that EACH of these words is used as one out of every 100 words when people communicate.  In order from most-to-least-often used, they are: 

#1.)  The, which is actually used 7.1% of the time . . . or one out of every 14 words.
