Brewer fans have looked forward to Opening Day all winter. They want to see Prince & Braunie rake...Escobar & Gomez flash the leather...feel the chills of "Hell's Bells" as Hoffman trots in to save another...and they will have all of that in the coming days. But the excitement of Opening Day is tempered a bit this year...especially if you're a Bucks fan as well. Andrew Bogut is done for the season. That anguished cry you heard Saturday night was Bucks fans around the state realizing that their chances of advancing deep into the playoffs ran off the court grimacing in pain. Can Kurt Thomas and Irsan Ilyasova replace what Bogut brought to the floor? Doubtful. But can they bring enough to keep the Bucks machine rolling. Can Delfino and Jennings pick up some slack. Maybe.  Can the rest of the roster step up their games enough to keep the Bucks competitive? We'll find out alot in the last 6 games of the regular season if the Bucks have enough without the "Thunder Down Under".

The Red Sox rallied to beat the Yankees last night in the opening game of the season. Former Brewer Mike Cameron contributed a couple of big hits and some good defense as well.

Pointer baseball coach Pat Bloom gets win number 200 over the weekend as they beat Ripon in a doubleheader.

Can the Butler Bulldogs pull the big upset tonight? After watching them slug it out with Michigan State on Saturday I say...why not?

Leave it to Tiger Woods to bury his Masters press conference this afternoon. It's Opening Day in the majors and the college basketball National Championship game is tonight. Does he think we're all stupid?

Scott Wimmer finished 7th in the Nationwide race on Saturday. He also led the race for awhile.
