The Green Bay Packers found out this week that they will be without Johnny Jolly for the entire 2010 season after he was suspended by the NFL. This reportedly has nothing to do with his pending court case in texas in which he's facing 20 years in prison. NFL insiders say this suspension is for failing drug tests. It's obvious the Packers were expecting something like this when they drafted a number of defensive lineman this year.
The Woodchucks are smoking right now...winning 6 in a row going into Saturday's game. The pitching has been excellent but Eau Claire & La Crosse continue to play well too. Expect a battle for the entire second half as the Chucks expect to get back to the playoffs after a long absence.

It's going to be a busy week as I am also having my 35th high school class reunion. the Wausau East Class of 1975 will be getting together next Friday & Saturday. If youre from that class and reading this and somehow did not get the word...let me know and I'll get you the details.
Songs of The Day (from my I-pod)
Get A Job-Silhouettes (1957) the classic doo-wop song that introduced the lyrics sha-na-na na na-na-na-na-na....dip-dip-dip-dip-dip...na.na.na.na..get a job.
Get Back-Beatles (1969) the band was splintering but made this song up in the studio and recorded it several times. It also featured Billy Preston on keyboards
