Jerry Sandusky is in jail, soon to be in prison....Joe Paterno is dead...Graham Spanier & Tim Curley are free for now but are probably facing criminal & civil trials...and the Penn State football program is chugging right along preparing for the upcoming season. What's wrong with this picture? We have seen college football programs sanctioned for far less than what happened in State College, PA. The supposed sanctity of the football program is what drove the coverup and so in my opinion the sanctity of the football program needs to be crushed. People involved in the program and the university from janitors, to students, to administrators knew or at the very least suspected what was going on for years and did nothing...and the abuse of these kids continued unabated. The NCAA must act but I'm not holding my breath. They would rather hammer a student-athlete for accepting a plane ticket to go home for a funeral than hammer a so-called "prestigious program" like Penn State. It would serve this University right to lose its football program for awhile....so on every empty Saturday in the fall they could contemplate the monstrous atrocitites that were committed in the name of Penn State Football.

Brewer fans might do a doubletake if they see the Atlanta Braves game on Sunday...Ben Sheets is back in the majors and will start for the Braves this weekend. He was a 4 time all star for Milwaukee before arm problems sidelined him. He hasnt pitched in the majors in two years.

The 92 Dream Team or the 2012 Team USA...it makes for an entertaining argument but I have to agree with Michael Jordan. The 92 squad would handle the current US Olympic team. Jordan, Bird, Magic, Ewing, Drexler, Barkely, Malone. Stockton, Pippen. David Robinson, Chris Mullin....they win.
