The high school hockey tournament moves into the sectional phase and there are some excellent matchups coming on Tuesday. DC Everest and Wausau West will square off for the 3rd time this year. What makes this game different is that the Evergreens beat West the last time snapping the Warriors 47 game conference winning streak. Everest beat Antigo last night 4-3 in triple overtime, scoring the tying and winning goals on penalty shots,while West pasted East 8-0. Another matchup to watch is Stevens Point hosting Northland Pines which will be played at KB Willet in Point.Pines advanced over Mosinee 3-1 while Spash topped Pacelli/Assumption 4-2.

The CW Storm moved on with a 12-0 shellacking of Tomahawk. They face Rhinelander next.

Its triple header basketball tonight on Foxsports AM1390 & Fm 93.9. First up is DC Everest and Wausau West in a girls & boys doubleheader followed by the East boys at Merrill.

The scrum that is the Big Ten basketball season continued last night as Minnesota rallied and beat Wisconsin on overtime. Bucky returns home to face Ohio State on Sunday.

The Badger hockey team has an interesting weekend. They play Minnesota tonight at the Kohl Center and can be heard on WSAU...then Sunday the two teams head to Soldier Field in Chicago to play outdoors.

John Fogerty is coming out with a new album that features him doing a bunch of his old songs with different people including Keith Urban, Foo Fighters, Bob Seger, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, Kid Rock, Brad Paisley & Jennifer Hudson. This might be worth checking out. its called "Wrote a Song For Everyone" and includes alot of your Creedence favorites plus some of his solo stuff and a couple of new songs.
