The Green Bay Packers will travel to San Francisco for a Saturday night matchup with the 49ers in a rematch of the first game of the regualr season which went to SF 30-22. That really doesnt matter much as both teams are quite different then the ones that suited up four months ago. Colin Kapernick is now under center for the 49ers and the Packers will start two different o-lineman, two new linebackers, a new cornerback and DuJuan Harris instead of Cedric Benson at running back. Harris has been a nice little find and it will be interesting to see if he can keep it up through the playoffs and into next season. even though its a road game against a decent team...I believe the Packers should win this one and if karma is working...Seattle will beat Atlanta and set up another rematch which will drive the Lambeau faithful even wilder than they usually get this time of year.
The Badgers won a grinder at Lincoln yesterday 47-41. They won despite shooting 23% from the free throw line...23.5 % from three point range...and 37.7% overall. Yikes it looked horrible. The only saving grace is that the D played well and Nebraska couldnt shoot any better. Wisconsin is off until Saturday when they face Illinois.
The NHL will be back soon. Can you get excited about a truncated season? I suppose come Stanley Cup time .
The Bucks are slumping and need a win tomorrow night at home against Phoenix.

Songs Of The Day- (from my I-pod)
Lighthouse-James Taylor (1975) from his tasty "Gorilla" LP which featured the cream of LA musicians and on this beautiful song the honeyed harmonies of David Crosby & Graham Nash who were riding high as a duo at the time.
Lights-Journey (1978) When Steve Perry's voice was still new enough not to be annoying. He gave a faceless rock band an indentity that led them to the top
