I wrote recently that the Republican Primary for the 6th CD was surprisingly quiet. The good news is the three current state lawmakers in the race have resisted the temptation to attack each other. And until today, the only spending of note came from State Representative Duey Stroebel. Now, State Senator Joe Leibham is launching radio and TV ads. You can here the radio ad here:

Leibham does play the "true conservative card." But for the most part he stays on the same apple pie family theme as a campaign Stroebel launched earlier. Both candidates use these ad campaigns to introduce themselves to 6th District voters. As we're just more than a month away from the primary, perhaps these candidates will avoid the mess U.S. Senate primary candidates waded into in 2012.
