Collin Roth at Right Wisconsin today linked to this 2008 Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel editorial from then-Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, explaining why she was supporting impeachment proceedings against then-President George W. Bush. Note that Baldwin didn't know if Bush had broken any laws. In her mind the purpose of impeachment proceeds was to investigate all of the things she thought may have broken laws.
Boy, if that's her criteria, she should be all over the Obama administration now that she's a U.S. Senator, right? Not so much. Baldwin has been absolutely invisible; not saying a peep about any of the Obama scandals. And if the purpose of impeachment proceedings is to fact find, to determine if laws were broken, do I have a president for her!
