It was this date in 1969 that BBC audiences first saw the madness of Monty Python's Flying Circus
Some folks might have thought this was hatched by the Minister of Silly Walks…apparantly British Prime Minister Theresa May gave a speech that had a section of it stolen from the TV show “The West Wing”. I know Aaron Sorkin is a brilliant writer but whoever plagarized it should realize that there are alot of West Wing fans that have most of the scripts memorized.

Elections Have Consequences….Republican congressman Tim Murphy from Pennsylvania urged his pregnant mistress to have an abortion. On the same day the report surfaced he voted for legislation that would ban abortions after 20 weeks…….Donald Trump apprarently spent his time in Puerto Rico in a wealthy area largely spared from Marias devastation. And by now you've seen him throwing paper towels to a crowd like he was playing fetch with his dog. I've rarely seen someone with the empathy gene completely missing like this president……It's illegal for Wisconsin legislators to agree to vote for a bill in exchange for other actions by a governor ( I know, shocking right!) Now, some would like an investigation into whether some state senators violated the law which is a felony. After the state budget passed the assembly Chris Kapenga, Steve Nass and Duey Stroebel said they wouldnt vote for it unless some of their demands were met. It would have killed the budget (already way late) and so Governor Walker used his partial veto power to get rid of the stuff that the 3 senators demanded. Not only that, according to One Wisconsin Now, Walker also signed an executive order which implemented a policy provision from another bill authored by Kapenga and sponsored by Nass and Stroebel. The thinking is that Walker was desperate to get a budget done and these three knew it. Seems like it should get looked at but don't hold your breath. They will deny quid pro quo even if it has the stench of blackmail.
