The Milwaukee Bucks showed last night the kind of play we expected coming into the season. They shot 58% from the field and hammered a good Indiana Pacer team 125-107. Jabari needs to shoot 3's and he did…going 4-6 from 3 point range after only launching 4 -3's in the first three games. Greg Monroe gave them a 16-16 night in 26 minutes off the bench…and of course Giannis was great again. They have a bunch of winnable games the next two weeks before Golden State comes to town on November 19th.
I'm looking forward to the Badger-Northwestern game tomorrow. The Wildcats are a decent team and it will be interesting to see if the Badgers let down after their string of really tough games.
Senior Day for the Pointer football team Saturday at 1pm as Stout comes to Goerke Field.
Both the Badger mens and womens hockey teams are in Madison this weekend. The men host Northern Michigan tonight and tomorrow night. The women have Bemidji State in town Saturday and Sunday.
Semi-Final day at the State Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer Tournaments. Merrill, Athens and Wausau Newman are in volleyball action. Round 3 of the high school football playoffs. Stevens Point, Amherst, Abbotsford, Edgar & Loyal are still alive.
