STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) – One of the Stevens Point murder-for-hire suspects has found a new attorney.
Carla Glodowski will be represented by Menasha-based attorney Edmund Jelinski. He was appointed after a judge let Glodowski’s previous attorney withdraw from the case.
The court has also set two tentative trial dates. The first is scheduled for February 8th though it is more likely to take place April 26th.
Glodowski is charged with being party to attempted homicide for hiring another woman to kill her husband so she could continue an extramarital affair.
Linda Dietze shot James Glodowski five times in the head in Zenoff Park in Stevens Point last November. He survived. A judge sentenced Dietze this fall to seven years in prison for pulling the trigger.
A third co-conspirator is also charged in the scheme. Carlos Cummings will go on trial January 12th.
