WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Three Wausau City Council members will not seek re-election next year.
Alderman Tom Miller declined comment on his decision not to run. He is charged with felony fleeing after police say he failed to stop in October on his way home from a football game. Officers arrested him for drunken driving.
Council president Bill Forrest said he can no longer balance the demands of public service with his family.
And alderwoman Deb Hadley said she is quitting because of self-imposed term limits.
Candidates have until next Tuesday to file papers to run in the spring election.
