GREEN BAY, Wis(WSAU) Green Bay Packers linebacker Brandon Chillar had surgery yesterday on a broken hand suffered in Sunday's loss. Coach Mike McCarthy said Chillar would be out for a couple of weeks. And when he returns, he'll wear a protective club. Chillar and safety Derrick Martin were the only Packers to leave the Viking game early. Martin suffered a concussion.
McCarthy said safety Nick Collins might be limited at practice, at least on Wednesday. He hurt his ankle against the Vikings.
McCarthy also said Aaron Rodgers would probably not practice much Wednesday and Thursday --but he is expected to play against Tampa Bay on Sunday. Rodgers is nursing a foot injury and also sprained a toe on his other foot Sunday.
