WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Residents of Wausau's Tenth District have 3 weeks to make their application for an open seat on the Wausau City Council.
Alderman Ken Rosenberg said the city's personnel committee will go over those applications after they've been turned in and get a series of interviews in before the regular City Council meeting on December 8th. The council will then interview the applicants themselves, and make their appointment for the seat.
Rosenberg says anyone who is a legal voter in the Tenth District is allowed to apply. That means you have to be older than 18 and not a felon.
Applications can be picked up at the City Clerk's office. The deadline for applications is December 2nd.
