WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – After several years gone, the Jaycees Haunted House is back in force with a hospital theme.
Wausau Jaycees Vice President Jerry Melvin says the house is much larger than any similar project they've ever done. After several years of running the Monster Mash at the Rothschild Pavilion, he said many members wanted to go back to making a Haunted House, since that seems to be a dying attraction for Halloween.
TRAUMA is a 12-15 minute run through a decrepit, haunted hospital, and Melvin says they've got over 50 volunteers helping run the show this year. From actors to builders, the cast was large enough to keep groups running through the show at a good clip.
You can find the Jaycees Haunted House at the IROW Warehouse on Macintosh. Just follow the signs from Grand Avenue.
Tickets are 7 dollars or 10 for two trips.
