WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A man convicted of two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child in 1995 is scheduled to be released back into the community this morning.
Michael Saenger received a parole from the state review board earlier this year after serving 14 years of a 20 year sentence. This is not a mandatory release, but the board belied Saenger had complied and learned from his time in prison.
Saenger will be on GPS monitoring, will live in a halfway house near the courthouse, and be required to submit to supervision by Probation and Parole agents. He will also be listed on the sex offender registry.
