WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Fewer students are enrolled in the Wausau school district this year.
The district’s official third Friday count showed 7,944 students, down 118 students from last year.
The number is key for the district since it is one of three factors that determine how much state aid they’ll receive.
