MIAMI (Reuters) - Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington may miss the rest of the season after suffering a shoulder injury in Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers, the Miami Herald reported Monday.
Pennington, who has twice before had surgery on his throwing shoulder, had an MRI that indicated a tear that would end his season, the newspaper reported (www.miamiherald.com).
The team has not yet commented on the severity of the injury to Pennington which occurred in the third quarter of the 23-13 loss to the Chargers in San Diego.
