WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) Wausau Homes is unveiling a new business model.
The company held a 50th anniversary tour of their Rothschild plant yesterday. Part of their new brand is to market Wausau Homes as an easy, less stressful option for home-builders who want to put up a new structure instead of buying an existing house. Their goal is to take the stress and anxiety out of the building process.
The company also says it expects to hire back some of the workers who’ve been laid off over the past two years.
Between now and Independence Day, Wausau Homes will also donate 2-thousand dollars for each home it sells to Operation Homefront, an organization that supports the families of troops serving overseas.
