WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) For the second time this year Wausau police set up an alcohol enforcement zone within the city.
Grand Avenue between downtown and the Schofield city line was targeted. On Saturday night police added extra patrols, and pulled over drivers for any and all vehicle violations. Drivers who said they'd been drinking or showed signs of intoxication were given field sobriety tests.
The finding for the extra patrols were made possible by state and federal grants.
