The Lions yesterday welcomed in their new defensive lineman Lawrence Jackson, the third year player and former first round draft pick of Seattle, which on Wednesday traded the ex-Southern Cal Trojan standout to Detroit for a sixth round draft pick in 2011.
Jackson was happy to see some familiar faces at training camp with current Lions Julian Peterson, Rob Sims, Nate Burleson, Maurice Morris and Will Heller all former Seahawk players. Detroit plays its second pre-season game tomorrow night at Denver.
