The Lions hope Drew Stanton and his ability to scramble and throw on the run will give the Bears some problems tomorrow when Chicago Visits Ford Field to take on Detroit.
It will be Stanton’s second career start at quarterback for the Lions in the ex-Michigan State standout’s third year in the league. The Bear’s defense is second in the N-F-L this season in fewest points allowed and second against the run.
During his two plus years in Detroit, Stanton has averaged four-and-a-half yards every time he runs the ball.
Stanton says he knows it won’t be easy going up against a Chicago Team which has as its defensive coordinator former lion’s Head Coach Rod Marinelli. AM-1590’s live coverage of Lion’s football on Sunday begins tomorrow at 12 Noon.
