The Pistons last night lost for the second time this week to Orlando as the short-handed Magic pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 104-to-91 win over Detroit at the Palace. The Magic were missing All Star center Dwight Howard and three other players who were out of action because of a stomach virus and were still able to hand the Pistons their fourth straight loss.
Orlando, which has won six straight, trailed 55-to-54 at the half but warmed up toward the end of the third quarter which closed with the Magic ahead 78-to-73. Tayshaun Prince had a game-high 30 points for Detroit, which lost at Orlando on Tuesday 90-to-79. The Pistons host Cleveland tomorrow night.
