RIB MOUNTAIN, Wis. (WSAU) – Rib Mountain could give approval tonight to plans for a new Goodwill store.
The town board is scheduled to vote at 6:30 p.m. on two items. One is a certified survey map approval for land just behind and to the east of Aldi's Foods on Rib Mountain Drive. The other would grant a conditional use permit for an indoor sales facility and drive-up window.
The plan commission narrowly passed both requests 3-to-2 during a special meeting on Wednesday. One commissioner abstained. Another commission was absent.
Goodwill officials say the store they are planning would be in addition to their current facility on Schofield Avenue in Weston. They say that store will remain open.
