MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) – A Wausau man charged with his mother's murder in rural Lincoln County this summer has fired his two attorneys.
Chase Boruch wants a state public defender appointed to represent him on a first-degree intentional homicide charge. He remains jailed on a $2 million dollar cash bond.
Boruch's decision means a preliminary hearing that had been scheduled for Wednesday morning has been postponed.
A judge and attorneys will meet December 30th to schedule future court dates.
