WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – The Wausau parks department has opened up the city's skating rinks for the season.

There are four rinks this year owing to the construction on the 400 block. Those sites are Riverview Elementary, Brockmeyer Park, Grant Elementary and John Marshall. Parks Superintendent Ken Krueger says the the 4 rinks will be open nights for most of the week and during the afternoon and evenings on weekends.
