MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - A man from Detroit has been sentenced to over 12 years in prison for robbing 5 banks in the Madison area last summer. 43-year-old Paul Walker was convicted in a holdup spree that lasted about 2 weeks. He was sentenced Thursday in federal court in Madison. The U.S. Attorney’s office said Walker has a long criminal record, which includes convictions for robbery and felony gun possession.
