WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – Another Republican will step forward to challenge Senate Majority Leader Russ Decker this fall.

Businessman Kevin Hermening will officially launch his campaign next Wednesday afternoon.

Hermening joins Dr. Pam Galloway and two other Republicans in an attempt to unseat the Weston Democrat.

The 50-year-old Hermening is a former Mosinee school board member and the current treasurer of the Republican Party of Marathon County. He owns a financial planning and investment advisory firm.
