WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A judge bound a Wausau man over for trial today on charges that he forced three children to smoke marijuana and then sexually assaulted two of them.
According to a criminal complaint, Robert Johnson forced two of the children to watch pornography and perform sex acts with each other between 2007 and 2008. The report also claims Johnson beat all three children with a hand and belt.
Introduced as evidence at the hearing were the reports of interviews with the three children, which prosecutor Leslie Pluster asked to seal for the trial.
The attorney for Robert Johnson says one of the children denies any sexual contact ever took place.
But Judge Greg Grau said that was a matter for trial, and bound Johnson over for later proceedings. His bond has been continued.
