BESSEMER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WTAQ) - A search continued Thursday in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for a man who allegedly shot 2 tavern customers to death.
It happened about 10 miles north of the Wisconsin border in Bessemer Township. Michigan State Police said 54-year-old Steven Dianich shot and killed 46-year-old Scott Udd and 52-year-old Jon Lund last Saturday, because Dianich was angry that the 2 men were drinking with his girlfriend.
The woman had joined the pair and then left. Officials said Dianich later arrived and shot Udd and Lund. Federal marshals are helping with the search for Dianich.
