WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A sex offender convicted of molesting two young men in 2006 is set to be released from jail.
Court records say Keith Kostrowski befriended two teenaged boys and groomed them over several years. He then engaged in sexual acts with them, and paid them money not to talk about it. He was caught after one of the boys went to the police.
After his release today, Kostrowski will be placed on both GPS monitoring and strict observation by the corrections and probation offices in Wausau. He'll be living in a halfway house, and be under guidelines of where he can and can't work.
He'll be under supervision for the next 16 years.
