MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A 2-year-old Milwaukee boy accidentally killed himself Sunday, when he grabbed a handgun from his mom’s dresser and shot himself in the face.

A medical examiner’s report said Zaire Cameron was in a bedroom watching a movie with 2 other kids. And when his parents heard the gunshot, they ran to the room and found Zaire slumped over the end of a bed.

Officials said the boy’s mother caught him playing with the gun on Saturday – and she punished him and placed the weapon back in the drawer where it had been stored previously.
