WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - Power has been restoredto about 3,600 Wausau residents. Last night there was a widespread power outage on the city's west side.

Wisconsin Public Service officials haven't said why the powers out, only that crews are on the scene and trying to repair the issue. A recorded message on the company's phone line said power should be restored by 1030.

For most customers, the lights were back on around 10pm.
