The short-handed Pistons were pounded last night at Boston 119-to-93 and are now a season high 21 games under .500. And it didn’t help that Tayshaun Prince, who had already missed 26 games with a back injury, had to leave in the first quarter when he hurt his back again after taking a hard fall.
Detroit also played without Ben Wallace, who missed his seventh straight game with a knee injury as well as guard Rodney Stuckey, who still is having some dizzy spells since collapsing on the bench at Cleveland six games ago. The Pistons tonight host the Cavaliers at the Palace.
