WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – The Wausau school board will discuss how to find a new superintendent tonight.
The board will meet in special session at 6 p.m. to discuss administration compensation and restructuring.
It will reconvene in open session to explore its options, which include forming a subcommittee or hiring a search consultant to look for Steve Murley’s replacement. Also at issue is whether the search will be local or national in scope.
Murley announced last week that he had accepted the superintendent’s job in Iowa City, Iowa. He will leave the Wausau school district June 30th.
