MEDFORD, Wis. (WSAU) - A Taylor County man has been held on a 200-thousand dollar bond, and deputies are looking for another man in connection with a Monday shooting.

47-year-old Dusn Novakovic has been charged with attempted first degree homicide after a Monday shooting. District attorney Karl Kelz said Dusn has a long criminal history dating back to 1980, and represents a flight risk. He's also been ordered to have no connection with the victim, Patrick Statton.

Statton was dropped off at a Rusk County hospital Monday afternoon with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He survived the attack.

Police are also looking for a person-of-interest in the shooting. 54 year old Guy Hoyt from Glen Flora is wanted for questioning. He is not considered dangerous, but police ask that if you do know him or see him, to call police at 748-2200.
